E-C-C-C!!! We got back from Emerald City in Seattle (stayed a few extra days to enjoy the city) and it was probably the funnest show we've done yet. It was our first time at the convention and by all accounts this year's show was twice as big as previous years. Pretty much all the big name publishers and creators were were there; it was pretty spectacular if I do say so myself. Though while that might have been great for con attendees, unfortunately that meant business was a little slow for a lot of the small press/artist alley creators. A lot to see, a lot to do, just not a lot of people buying indie comics. That aside, it's a show I will still whole-heartedly recommend to anyone even thinking of going. We met a ton of great people and hopefully, someday, we'll be able to go back.
Until the next con...
